City Education Group is a dynamic private education provider headquartered in Dublin that delivers transformative education programmes to students at second; and third levels, while also focusing on professional, higher and vocational training. We are seeking to appoint a Digital Marketing Executive to join our Marketing Team. The role of the Digital Marketing Executive will involve providing support to the Marketing Manager in implementing the Group’s marketing and communication strategy through web, social and digital media. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the marketing industry and its best practices.

Person Specification

Candidates will be required to provide evidence of:

  1. Relevant qualification in Digital Marketing, Communication, Business or a related discipline is essential.
  2. Minimum of 12 months experience in Digital Marketing.
  3. Professional experience in digital marketing campaigns, planning, implementation, management and reporting.
  4. Experience with; Google Ads, Google Analytics, WordPress, Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads.
  5. Excellent understanding of digital marketing strategy and best practices.
  6. Excellent copy writing skills and a high degree of attention to detail.
  7. Ability to plan, organise and meet deadlines.
  8. Additional qualification in digital marketing is preferred.
  9. Previous experience in the Education Sector is desirable.
  10. Knowledge of photo and video editing software is preferred but not essential.
  11. Strong understanding of different marketing techniques.
  12. Ability to generate creative ideas to engage audiences and potential customers.
  13. Proven understanding of branding within the Higher Education industry.
  14. Ability to plan, organise and meet deadlines.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

The Digital Marketing Executive will play a central role in the Marketing team within CEG.

The appointee will carry out such duties as are assigned by management including, but not limited to:

  1. Development and management of advertising campaigns (digital) including (but not limited to) the following;
    Google AdWords
    Social Media
    Email Marketing
  2. Maintenance and on-going development of City Colleges Education Group websites including the establishment of effective SEO strategies, development of suitable content and assurance that all elements of the sites provide a positive user experience.
  3. Production of Promotional Materials such as brochures, flyers, press ads.
  4. Production and management of advertising material and resources. Ensure material is up to date and relevant. Use opportunities to increase photo portfolio
  5. Management of any marketing related projects such as exhibitions, promotional stands, events etc.
  6. Reporting on all marketing activity performance, presenting recommendations and optimisation strategy. Other tasks as reasonably identified by the Marketing Director or Chief Executive from time to time.

The salary scale is €27,000.
